As we see the influx of new car sales going toward the purchase of hybrid vehicles, I am in awe of how little awareness these new car owners have of the servicing of the vehicle. Sure you probably don't need to change the oil as often BUT you do need to follow the manufacturers recommendations and if nothing else get the brakes checked! We are seeing that more and more hybrids are going through front brakes faster than ever before. You need to make sure the tires are at the right pressures to get the mileage you expect and you should monitor the batteries life so you don't go out one morning the day after the warranty expires and the car is dead! Seen it happen, believe me!
